March’s Project of the Month belongs to this sleek two-story modular office building for Amanda Manufacturing. Amanda Manufacturing is a metal forming company that develops cold and technical formed rod and wire products for virtually any application. The new modular office is located in Amanda Manufacturing’s Industrial Road, Livonia, Michigan facility which supports their staking and riveting operations.
The building utilizes a custom Panel Built panel that provides the building with a glossy black exterior and a traditional office interior. The building’s first floor offers an open office space and canteen area, and the second floor provides three individual offices, another open office space, and a conference room.
The project was coordinated through MPdL Studios, founded by Monica Ponce de Leon AIA. MPdL Studio is based in Ann Arbor with offices in Boston and New York City, providing commercial, governmental, institutional and residential architectural services.
