Get to Know Selina Waterhouse
If you could go back in time, what time period would you travel to?
The 1950’s because of the fashion and so I could become best friends with Lucille Ball.
- How do you recharge / what is your favorite hobby?
I like to hand write budgets for various savings goals I have. You’d think I could do this once and be done, but I do it several times a week and it’s therapeutic for me. And weird probably.
- When are you the happiest?
When I am at Disney World. Specifically, during their fireworks shows.
- Fill in the blank: If you really knew me, you’d know__________.
I am still terrified of the dentist. I get sick to my stomach, and I actually cry if it’s anything more than a standard cleaning. I have to have headphones in the whole time.
- What would you most regret NOT having done at the end of your life?
Seeing the new 7 wonders of the world.
- What characteristic do you most admire in others?
When someone can make me cry-laugh.
- Do you prefer Windows or Mac? Why?
Windows because you can’t right click on a Mac and I just don’t get that.
- If you could only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what would it be?
Cheeseburger and fries.
- What would you sing at Karaoke night?
Bring me to life by Evanescence and I would load up on eye liner first.
- If you could choose to do anything for a day, what would it be?
I’d go back and forth between watching movies and baking all day.
- What was your first car?
1995 Ford Taurus when I was 16. 7 years later and she and I are still going strong.
- Do you have pets? If so, tell us about them!
My parents have 2 Dachshunds. They are sisters and I have a strict policy to only pet them once a week. Also, I don’t really like animals.
- Star-Trek or Star Wars? Why?
Star Wars because I have seen two of the movies which basically makes me the biggest fan.
- Are you married? Kids? Tell us about them!
Not married yet and no kids. Guys, I am 23. Calm down.
- Where did you grow up?
Equal parts West Palm Beach, Florida and Blairsville, Georgia.
- What is your favorite childhood memory?
When my 3 siblings and I were little kiddies, my mom took us to Disney World by herself for a week. We ended up staying in this dumpy hotel called “The Magic Castle” and it was this tiny, run down, bright pink building. It was gross. But, I will never forget that trip.
