Panel Built to Host M.A.C.A. Car Wash
May 23rd, the M.A.CA. (Mountain Area Christian Academy) girls’ basketball and volleyball teams will be visiting Panel Built to wash cars. The teams will be working for donations only, and all earned funds will go toward team camps this summer. Both teams have high goals of competing for state championships in the upcoming seasons. Not only will this be a great opportunity to receive a ‘Grade A’ car wash but it will also be a prime chance to give to a worthy cause. Included in the car wash are a vacuum as well as clean wheels and tires.
With two state championships already in the bag, basketball player Alex Kiernan says “The money raised in our car wash today will not only be greatly appreciated but it may just give us the competitive edge we need to snag a third championship.” This summer camp may be just what the girls’ volleyball team needs to finally make it past the final four round and reach their goal of a state championship.
Wednesday afternoon at 12:00 both teams will be hard at work in the Panel Built parking lot cleaning cars and working to make their goals a reality. If you happen to be in town, come by and get your ride cleaned for a good cause!
Thanks to the kind hearts of the PBI employees, the hard work of M.A.C.A. girls’ volleyball and basketball teams paid off. Not only were 20 employees satisfied with clean cars but the girls were able to raise over $300 to go toward sports camps. The M.A.C.A. teams would like to thank all employees for their generous donations and Panel Built for allowing them to utilize their facilities!
