A leading waste management truck manufacturer in Lafayette, Georgia needed a new break room and cafeteria to support its growing workforce. The existing facility did not have enough space to accommodate employees during busy shifts. The company needed a solution that could be installed quickly, provide a comfortable and modern environment, and avoid significant downtime in their manufacturing operations. Innovative Space Management Solutions partnered with Panel Built to meet these goals under a tight schedule.

Solution

Panel Built delivered a 1,287 square foot modular break room designed to create a bright, functional space for employees to relax and recharge. The layout includes dual double-swing doors for easy access, stainless steel countertops for food prep and serving areas, and two mini-split AC units for year-round comfort. Inside the room, twenty-four duplex outlets are powered by two 24-space load centers, providing the electrical capacity needed for microwaves, refrigerators, vending machines, lighting, and TVs. Thirteen large windows along two walls overlook the manufacturing floor, creating an open atmosphere and improved visibility. The space is finished with dove gray gypsum walls and luxury vinyl tile flooring for durability and easy maintenance.
