4,292 sq. ft. Modular Equipment Enclosure | Charlotte, NC
A customer in Charlotte, North Carolina required a large, controlled environment inside an active warehouse to house essential machinery. The space needed to improve protection and support long-term industrial use. Stein Service & Supply partnered with Panel Built, Inc. to design and deliver a modular equipment enclosure that could be installed quickly and perform reliably in a demanding environment.
Solution
Panel Built engineered a 4,292 square foot modular enclosure standing 17 feet, 2 inches tall, with a mix of 9-foot and 17-foot wall sections to accommodate equipment of varying heights. The structure was built with 3-inch FRP and gypsum wall panels in a bright white finish, providing durability, cleanability, and a professional appearance suitable for industrial settings.
A 22-gauge steel B-deck roof supports lighting, HVAC components, and ceiling-mounted systems required for safe and efficient operation. The enclosure includes multiple 8' x 12' roll-up doors for easy equipment movement, as well as tempered glass windows to increase visibility across the workspace.
Panel Built also designed the full electrical package, supplying a turnkey layout that supports daily operations and long-term reliability. The resulting structure offers a controlled interior environment that protects equipment and provides maintenance access without disrupting warehouse activity.
