39' x 32' Modular Breakroom

A leading waste management truck manufacturer in Lafayette, Georgia, recently partnered with Innovative Space Management Solutions and Panel Built to create a new modular break room and cafeteria for their growing workforce. Delivered through Brodie Forrester, the project was designed to meet a tight schedule while still providing a modern, attractive space for employees to relax and recharge.

The new break room adds 1,287 square feet of space, complete with dual double-swing doors for easy access. To support a busy cafeteria environment, the room was outfitted with 24 duplex outlets powered by two 24-space load centers, ensuring ample capacity for microwaves, refrigerators, vending machines, exit signs, lights, and TVs. Stainless steel countertops were provided to equip the food prep and serving areas, while two mini-split AC units keep the space comfortable year-round.

Thirteen large windows along two sides of the room provide employees with a clear view of the manufacturing floor, creating a bright, open environment. The in-plant structure was finished with dove gray gypsum walls for a clean, professional appearance and luxury vinyl tile flooring for an easy-to-maintain surface that can withstand high traffic. The end result is a durable, efficient, and attractive break room that enhances the facility while minimizing downtime.
