Project Of Month

44' x 92' Inplant Enclosure

A 3D printing company in Springfield, Tennessee, recently expanded their facility with the addition of a large-scale modular office system delivered through Paul Hart and Jarvis Handling Equipment Co. Supplied by the Panel Built team, the project consisted of a 4,048-square-foot inplant building designed to enclose and organize a wide range of equipment in a single, centralized space.

The 44’ x 92’ structure was tailored to meet the operational demands of the customer’s production floor, including a 36-space load center that powered 22 duplex outlets and 3 switches. Two standard steel doors provide convenient access for personnel, while a 10’ x 14’ roll-up door was installed to allow large equipment and machinery to move easily in and out of the enclosure.

To create a clean, professional interior, the building was finished with a suspended drop ceiling with LED lights and Dove Gray gypsum wall panels with matching trim. Windows were installed along the front side of the structure, offering clear visibility into the enclosure from the facility floor and enhancing supervision of the equipment inside.

The roof system is supported by structural steel beams and columns, engineered to carry a 39 PSF load. The fully modular design allowed the customer to install a code-compliant, high-performance enclosure without the delays or disruption of conventional construction.

The completed system delivered a functional, future-ready solution for a growing production environment, providing power, flexibility, and organization in a fast-paced, tech-driven facility.
