Campus Security Booth

Creating a secure, controlled entrance is an important part of managing traffic and visitor access on a school campus. For this local elementary school, Panel Built provided a compact guard booth positioned directly at the campus entrance to give security personnel a dedicated space for monitoring incoming vehicles and visitors.

The booth features large windows on multiple sides, giving the attendant a wide field of view while maintaining a protected, enclosed workspace. Its compact footprint allows it to sit directly alongside the entry lane without taking up unnecessary space or interfering with vehicle traffic.

Like all Panel Built guard booths, the structure was prefabricated prior to arriving on site, helping reduce the amount of construction required at the school itself. The booth could then be installed at the entrance and incorporated into the school’s existing security layout.

The project also demonstrates how a prefabricated booth can be customized even after installation. Panel Built originally supplied the booth with a white exterior finish, and the school later added brick cladding to better match the surrounding campus architecture. The finished result looks much more like a permanent part of the school while retaining the benefits of the original prefabricated structure.

E-SPLOST Funds at Work

This security booth was purchased using E-SPLOST funds, providing the school with a tangible campus improvement focused on security and visitor access.
